We can also supply some kits that will do the job
originally designed for other models. If you look
at the pictures
of the following models, you will see they have most all the
important parts needed to
rebuild the carbs on any of the bikes above.
Basically, the major difference in the kits
below besides jet sizes and the float needles.
All of the bikes above use one of two different float needles based
on the year range. Honda's
made '78-'79 have a black fiber float with stainless bracket and use
the needle with the spring clip
and '80-'85 models use a all plastic white float that is non
adjustable and use the needle with notched top. Keep in mind the
white floats turn a pale shade of yellow all the way to dark browm
with age.

So with this knowledge you can use the
pictures below to choose a kit that has the needle you need for
your model
Then the next thing to check is the jets. Don't be too worried
if the jet sizes are not exact for your specific bike,
if they are it is a bonus, if not most jets can be re-used and
not hinder your rebuild. ALL models use the same air screw,
the same float bowl gasket, and the same o-rings. This makes the
jets and the needle the main things to identify.
You will also note we included the size of the jets that come
with the kit to make your choice even easier.
Once you find the kit you want, go back to the Honda carb kit
page and order the make/model/ and year that the kit
was originally designed for. Also note, all kits are sold
separately so order 2 kits if you are fixing both carbs.
Air cut-off valves and accelerator pump kits are always sold
separately for ALL kits and can be ordered from
our "Miscellaneous Carb Parts
page" if you require them.
